It has been nearly 7 months since the outbreak of EI and Pony Club NSW would like to congratulate and thank all members for their efforts to help eradicate this disease. An end is in sight, however there are still requirements in place by the DPI, which we must all comply with to ensure complete eradication.
Thank you to all Clubs in the White and Purple Zones who have been complying with Event Registration requirements. We understand that the paper work can be a hassle although it must be done. Please remember to complete the DPI Event Registration form at least 72 hours prior to the Event AND fax a copy to Pony Club NSW, likewise with the Horse Attendance forms.
Another reminder is that Pony Club members who are attending a Rally Day must fill in a Travelling Horse Statement and have it with them at all times whilst on the road. These requirements mean that everyone must be organised and on the ball.
Purple and White Clubs have been full steam ahead – Clubs have been emailing in there stories and photos, these can be viewed under the News section on the State website, www.pcansw.org.au – we welcome more of them. Please send us any stories or photos of your Club returning to action. Email to email@example.com or post to PO BOX 2085, Wollongong, NSW, 2500.
We are hoping that movement and horse activities are not too far off for Amber and Red Zone Clubs. Thank you for your patience and compliance with DPI directives.
On a non EI related topic, we are excited to announce that Horseland is back on board as a major sponsor of Pony Club NSW for 2008.
