Nationals Fundraising
The 2013 Pony Club Australia National Championships will be held at the Western Australia State Equestrian Centre, Brigadoon, from the 26 to the 30 September 2013.
Competitors will need to cover significant costs in order to travel with their horses to WA for this event. As a result Pony Club NSW has developed the following initatives to assist riders to cover these costs.
2013 Pony Club NSW Nationals raffle
Individuals and Clubs can purchase raffle tickets now from our office by filling out the order form available to download here and posting with payment. Individuals and Clubs can also assist in selling the tickets and can order raffle tickets to sell with tickets and payment to be returned to the office before the 12th July 2013. Please also fill out the order form for this option.
1st Prize: Registered Blue Box Trailer 5 x 3’6’’ filled with product, trailer donated by Resort Trailers Queanbeyan. Trailer and product valued at over $2000. Trailer and goods pictured below.
2nd Prize: $1000 Harvey Norman voucher
3rd Prize: $300 Bunnings Warehouse voucher
4th Prize: $260 worth of product donated by Flametree Inc

Association President Di Cullen has put together a Pony Club Association NSW Cook book to help raise funds for NSW riders attending the Nationals. Books are $20 and feature a wide selection of delicious recipes. Please select here to download the order form.

Volunteer of the Year Award
ABOUT THE AWARD
The Pony Club Association of NSW wishes to recognise volunteers whose efforts have significantly assisted the running and development of Pony Club within their Club and/or Zone. Incepted in 2010 courtesy of a NSW Sport and Recreation Grant, the Volunteer of the Year award is a means of saying thank you for their hard work and commitment whilst aiming to encourage more members to volunteer their time.

One member from each zone receives: -

· Acknowledgement on the website Honour Roll
· 2 x Mitavite Gift Certificates for an Xtra-Cool feed bag

To be eligible for considerations nominees must meet the following criteria: -
· Aged 13 years or over
· Current financial member
· Volunteered for their Club and/or Zone a minimum of 50 hours over a 12 month period

Keith Lowe Associate Award
ABOUT THE AWARD
The Keith Lowe Associate Award may be made to an associate member of a pony club affiliated with the association who has given practical assistance and outstanding service to his/her club during their associate years. Riding and competition ability are not major considerations.
Named after a former president, the Keith Lowe Associate Award was inaugurated in recognition of the contribution of Associates to the Pony Club movement.
AWARD RECEIVED
One associate from each zone receives: -
· Personalised Keith Lowe certificate
· Keith Lowe badge
· Acknowledgement on the website Honour Roll
· 2 x Mitavite Gift Certificates for an Xtra-Cool feed bag

ELIGIBLE NOMINEES
To be eligible for considerations the associate must meet the following criteria: -
· Given practical assistance and outstanding service to his/her club during their associate years
· Be an active member of their club at the time of nomination
· Have been a regular member of his/her club for at least three years
· Be recommended by the club committee to the zone chief instructor and the zone committee for approval
· Nomination must be submitted on the official form
· Nomination Form must be signed by the nominee’s Club Secretary and supported and signed by the Zone Chief Instructor
· Support from the previous club is required if the nominee’s membership changed within the last 3 years
HOW TO NOMINATE
The club committee should recommend an associate to the zone chief instructor and the zone committee for approval. A completed Nomination Form must then be sent to the state office by 28 June 2013 via: -

Junior Service Award
ABOUT THE AWARD
The Pony Club Association of NSW wishes to recognise our junior members whose efforts have significantly assisted the running and development of Pony Club within their Club and/or Zone. New to 2013, this award is a means of recognising and saying thank you for their hard work and commitment to their club and/or Zone.
AWARD RECEIVED
One member from each zone receives: -

· Acknowledgement on the website Honour Roll
· 2 x Mitavite Gift Certificates for an Xtra-Cool feed bag

ELIGIBLE NOMINEES
To be eligible for considerations nominees must meet the following criteria: -
· Aged 13 to under 17 years
· Current financial member and a regular member for at least 3 years
. Candidates must have obtained “C” Standard Efficiency Certificate
. Must have consistent Rally Day attendance
. Recorded good sportsmanship
. Recorded voluntary work (i.e. assist with setting up of equipment)
· Nomination must be submitted on the official form
· Be an active member of their club at the time of nomination
· Be recommended by the club committee to the zone chief instructor and the zone committee for approval
· Nomination Form must be signed by the nominee’s Club Secretary and supported and signed by the Zone Chief Instructor
· Support from the previous club is required if the nominee’s membership changed within the last 3 years
HOW TO NOMINATE
