Police Youth - Club of the Month - December 2008Entries are now open for the Pony Club of the Month - JANUARY. Entries for this close on the 31 January 2008. Pony Club of the Month - DECEMBER:POLICE YOUTH PONY CLUBPolice Youth PONY CLUB (Zone 20) is the Club of the Month for DECEMBER. The Club has won themselves $1,000 worth of product from Horseland. This prize includes dressage cones, lunging equipment, an Equestrian computer game, bandages, books, training aids and other exciting resources.
The products within the prize packs have been selected as they can be used as training tools within the club. The packs are designed to assist clubs improve their resources to benefit members. We have had a number of outstanding entries over the last few months, which makes selecting a winner very hard. Congratulations to all clubs who have entered the competition since its inception over 18 months ago - you attend very inspiring clubs! My Pony Club is the best club and it is special because everyone knows each other and we are friends not just at the club but outside of pony club also. My club is the Police & Community Youth Pony Club (PCYC Albury) and we are the only Pony Club in NSW with PCYC. We are in Zone 20. I joined when I was 5 and everyone made me feel special and a part of the club. We have the best instructors because they always encourage us and never growl at us. When the State Sporting and Mounted Games were on and our Club was sending a team everyone got together and helped raise enough money to pay for the entry fees and cost for the team. we held a fun day with pony rides, sausage sizzle, face painting and lots more. we also held a disco and got enough money to buy some jumps as well as sending our team to the games. I think our club is very special to do that.
