NSW Riders Named Award Finalists
Equestrian Life Marketing Development Award Finalists Announced
Equestrian Life, a sponsor of the 2011 Melbourne International Three Day Event is pleased to announce the six finalists of the Equestrian Life Marketing Development Award to be decided during the course of the event from June 9th -13th.
The finalists are:
· Lauren Balcombe (NSW) – former Forest Hills Pony Club member
· Tallara Barwick (NSW) – Dural Pony Club member
· Andrew Cooper (VIC)
· Chris Height (VIC)
· Edith Kane (VIC)
· Katie Remond (NSW) – Bouddi Pony Club member
The finalists will be interviewed by a panel of judges on Friday 10th June and the winner will be announced during the presentation ceremony on Monday 13th June. Equestrian Life will provide the winner with marketing consultancy services for a 12-month period, assistance with identifying and approaching potential sponsors and a media campaign to raise the profile of the winner.

About the Award
This award is open to all riders between the ages of 18 and 26 competing at any level of the 2011 Melbourne International Three Day Event. Last held in 2009, this Award aims to increase the awareness of the value of marketing and self promotion for up and coming riders and provide the winner with the expertise to raise their marketing profile.
The winner of the Award will be required to successfully demonstrate the following through the course of the competition;
A desire to create a “marketable product” of themselves and their team
Willingness and capability to undertake media interviews
Potential to attract and manage sponsorship
General attitude and aptitude in dealing with people and situations
About Equestrian Life
Equestrian Life magazine bring together the best feature articles covering equestrian personalities, events, lifestyle, property plus essential information for every horse enthusiast. The magazine was first launched in 2005 and proved to be a strong favourite in equestrian circles for over three years; it will be re-launched at the Melbourne International Three Day Event 2011.
