Entries are now open for the Pony Club of the Month - APRIL. Entries for this close on the 30 April 2008. Again the prize in $1,000 worth of product from Horseland, includes body protectors, dressage cones, grooming kit. Please email us and tell us what makes your club special along with some photos!

Pony Club of the Month - ARMIDALE:
ARMIDALE PONY CLUB
ARMIDALE PONY CLUB (Zone 13) is the Club of the Month for MARCH. The Club has won themselves $1,000 worth of product from Horseland. This prize includes dressage cones, lunging equipment, bandages, books, training aids and other exciting resources.
The products within the prize packs have been selected as they can be used as training tools within the club. The packs are designed to assist clubs improve their resources to benefit members.
We have had a number of outstanding entries over the last few months, which makes selecting a winner very hard. Congratulations to all clubs who have entered the competition since its inception over 18 months ago - you attend very inspiring clubs! We look forward to receiving more exciting entries this month.

I believe that Armidale Pony Club (Zone 13) is an outstanding club, both on an educational level but also a social one. Children of all ages come together as one family on a regular basis. Rally Days are held every fourth Sunday of the month with riding instruction in many different disciplines, our annual camp in Sep/Oct and many Interclubs Gymkhana's throughout Oct/Nov each year, lends itself to having constant contact with each other. What makes it so special is that this family atmosphere allows children to learn, develop lasting friendships, travel and compete as one.
The endless hours that are volunteered by all associated with the club is the recipe for the overall success of the same. The committment shown by our Chief Instructor and her assistants is beyond reproach. Our Associates are great role models for our younger riders, encouraging and supporting, while gladly assisting with instruction and putting back some of what they have learnt.
Throughout 2008/09, Armidale Pony Club has shared in many successes, going from strength to strength. Some of these include:
- winning the Busby Shield for the Zone 13 highest overall pointscore at Interclub Gymkhana's.
- winning the J M Sinclair trophy at the recent Zone 13 Jamboree for the club with the highest pointscore.
- Senior team of fours winning the Glen Innes Pony Club Trophy for the overall highest pointscore at the Zone 13 Jamboree .
- Jenna Walsh (associate) receiving the Keith Lowe Medal.
- winning Zone 13 Dressage Trophy for highest pointscore in the Zone 13 Dressage Championships.
Team members and Chief Instuctor, Robin Cameron, after winning the Zone 13 Busby Shield for the highest overall pointscore at Interclub gymkhana's during 2008.
Armidale won the J M Sinclair Trophy for the tean with the highest overall pointscore at the Zone 13 Jamboree.
