June Club of the Month - Forest HillsFOREST HILLS PONY CLUB (Zone 23) is the Club of the Month for June 2012. The Club have won themselves a fantastic prize pack including:
They are the 57th club to win Club of the Month since this competition was incepted in 2007. We received a number of outstanding entries over the past month which makes selecting a winner very hard. Congratulations to all clubs who have entered the competition - you all attend very inspiring clubs! We look forward to receiving more exciting entries this month.
  Forest Hills Pony Club winning entry from Niamh Lennon is as follows...
Forest Hills Pony Club, Zone 23 meets every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month at JJ Hills Memorial Grounds. The club currently has approximately 80 riding members ranging in age from 8 to 25 and 20 non-riding members who are our valued volunteers.
The club offers instruction in the following disciplines: dressage, sporting, equitation, show jumping, show riding, eventing, mounted games and polocrosse as well as lessons in proper horse care and safety. A typical rally day involves show jumping, games, certificate work and preparation for whatever the next state event is (polocrosse & mg at the moment). Other fundraising, or social, events run at Forest Hills Pony club include: Junior Committee Day, non-rally day polocrosse and mg trainings and the annual pizza night and pony club camp!
The best thing about being a member of Forest Hills Pony Club is knowing you will always have a great time! And there are heaps of people around to support you!
