Below is the Clubs's entry

Here is a seven year olds boy’s view typed word for word by his mum, (anything in brackets has been added in to clarify text for the reader)

On Sunday I went to my first Pony club day. It was fun. I had a coach (instructor) her name was Alice and she was just half old I think. She knows lots about horses. She checked my saddle before I ride (gear check). I went in the beginners group. Mum led me cause I don’t see good with no glasses and they hurt my ears with the hat (helmet).

Alice coached (instruct) me for the flags and picking up the tennis balls off the barrels. I did in out, in out, in out, in out (bending) and walked over the lines (Cavaletti). Alice give the beginners group fairy bread for recess (morning tea), not the big kids cause their to big.
Alice had a big thing of sunscreen for us to put on. My friend Amy was there, it was her birthday and she had a big cake and I made new friends. They have a canteen and it had cans of coke. The big boy (Owen) talked to me and liked my horse, he has a big horse and is in the big group cause he is big. I did love pony club and it is on again soon.

Isaac (7 years).

A note from Isaac’s mum: Isaac’s first day at Narromine Pony Club was just terrific. We were welcomed by very friendly members and instructors. Isaac learnt so much and has retained it. We have some memorable pictures thanks to a thoughtful mum who realised I didn’t take a camera and offered to take some snaps and email them to me. A couple of members even contacted me over the following days to find out if Isaac enjoyed Pony Club. Narromine Pony Club may be new and only small, but what they lack in numbers and equipment is certainly outweighed by the Clubs enthusiasm and spirit.
