Below is the Clubs's entry
Bellinger River Pony club celebrated their 50th Anniversary last year. We had some of the clubs original members attend a annerversary dinner, in fact one of the original members grandchildren are current members with our club. This is a testomoney to a well run club with long standing members.
Our club is situated on the mid north coast, this year we have experienced 3 floods within 16 weeks. Our canteen and office has been flooded out each time and we have lost much needed equipment but where theres a will theres a way. Many of us feel we own sea horses rather than horses due to the big wet we have had to endure. Our members range from 2yr olds right up to our associates, our club is relaxed and friendly.
The picture taken is the bridge that needs to be crossed to access our showground. It seems the more clean out our canteen of dwindling supplies we are hit again with another flood. But thanks to our terrific members and a little bit of elbow grease we have cleaned up and have managed a few rally days too. We have had to cancel our zone hacking drssage and hand over to another local club due to the flooding, thanks Coffs Harbour PC for taking on this responsibility for us
